Joe's Oyster Bar is a beach bar during the day and an outdoor open-air nightclub at night. It serves food during the day until early evening. During the day, there is a volleyball court right inside the bar! It has a beach entrance that is open during the day so that you can enter and leave from the beach. Many people lay on the beach in front of Joe's just to hear the music. On weekends, there can be thousands of people at night in Joe's!

Jungle Juice is bar/nightclub that has just re-opened after being closed for about a year. It is one of the longest-running bars in Mazatlan. It is located on the second floor of a building and has a large balcony. It was known as the place that you could write with a sharpie on the wall whatever you wanted. Originally, it had just DJ music, but in it's previous incarnation, it had live bands on the weekend nights. It has just reopened again so we are not sure what type of music it is playing. This is a bar that has an older crowd than some of the large nightclubs. There used to be a restaurant on the first level that was open during the day, but we are not sure if there is a restaurant operating there now.
This is an open-air venue so there is no air-conditioning.
