If you have any information or comments about nightclubs in Mazatlán please contact us and we will add the information!

General Mazatlán Nightclub/Beach Club Information

The nightclubs/beach clubs in Mazatlán are mainly frequented by the younger crowd.  They don't normally go out until later in the evening, e.g. 11pm or midnight, unlike some nightclubs in Canada and the USA.  So, if you go to a nightclub at 9pm, it will probably be empty.  Nightclubs may be open as late as 5am on Friday and Saturday nights.  In the last few years, the city has been cracking down on late night noise so some places are not open as late as in the past.  American and Canadian tourists will normally go to the nightclubs in the Golden Zone, e.g. Joe's Oyster Bar.  These nightclubs will play popular Spanish and English dance music.

Most American and Canadian tourists will tend to go to the many restaurant/bars in all parts of Mazatlán that have live music.  Check out our 2024 Mazatlán Live Music Daily Calendar for a list of where the live music is!

In April, 2021, the Onaki Beach Club opened in the Punto Valentino complex(formerly Fiestaland).  This is the first beach club to open for years.

Tip: If you don't normally go to nightclubs in your home country, don't go to nightclubs here...you probably won't enjoy it.
