Mazatlán Port Area Overview

2026 Status: While a new dedicated terminal has been discussed for years, passengers currently enjoy the updated facilities at the commercial port on Avenida Emilio Barragan. Extensive beautification of the surrounding walkways now makes it much easier to walk from the ship toward the El Faro Lighthouse or the Centro Histórico.

  • Current Capacity: Up to 3 large cruise ships per day.
  • Transport: Pulmonia Taxis and the Sabalo Centro "Green Bus" are available at the terminal exit.
  • Walking: Downtown is approximately a 15-20 minute walk via the Blue Line.
