This 2026 Mazatlán Events Calendar is a daily listing of upcoming annual, live music, cultural, comedy, and sporting events in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico.
As a tourist or resident of Mazatlán, there are many events that happen in Mazatlán that you can attend whether you speak spanish or not. You can make your time in Mazatlán more enjoyable and memorable by attending some of these events.
Below is a list of the 2026 events in Mazatlán that we are aware of. We are trying to list all the events that you may want to go to as a tourist or a resident of Mazatlán. If you know of an upcoming event that is not on our calendar, please email us and tell us about it.
There are many events that only occur during the main tourist season (November to April inclusive)! We also have a daily live music calendar: 2026 Live Music Daily Calendar) at many restaurant/bars, one-time live music concerts, tribute artist shows, Karaoke, comedy shows, and theatrical events.
For the sports fans out there, Mazatlán has professional Baseball and Basketball and Soccer that you can go see live. We will list all home games on this events calendar.

2026 Daily Mazatlán Live Music and Karaoke Calendars
During the high season from November through April of every year there are many Restaurants and bars that have live music and/or karaoke daily with NO cover charge. Find these events in the following calendars:
In February, it is usually still cool in the evenings and sunny and about 70 degrees during the day. Normally, the annual Carnival takes place in February. This carnival is one of the largest in the world!

This is a twice weekly live music event where Aaron Halliday, a Canadian country singer, sings Alan Jackson and 90's country songs at a beachfront restaurant.
This is a fun event where you can dance to live music.
Reservations are recommended as this event has been selling out!
This is the annual event which is a huge open-air street party at Olas Altas.
There are numerous stages set up throughout the area with different bands playing. There are lots of beer and food stands in the area.
In 2023, there were 22 different musical groups and DJs on 11 stages running from the Sinaloa shield on Olas Altas to Avenida Zaragoza along Paseo Claussen. It should be similar in 2025!
Roads in the party area will be closed down from 4pm nightly during this event. There will be an entrance fee, but free bathrooms.

Coronation of the Queen of the Floral GamesCarnival
This is the annual Coronation of the Queen of the Floral Games and big concert! There are awards based on literary works.
This year the theme is: I know that you will remember. It is a tribute to the king of Bands German Lizarraga 75 years with guest conductor: Samuel Murillo

This is the annual event where a giant puppet is burned. The puppet is usually an effigy of a famous person or thing. The intent is to get rid of bad feelings of it from Mazatlán.

This is the annual fireworks show that commemorates the defense of Mazatlán in 1864 from an invasion by the French. It is a syncronized fireworks show.
NOTE: The Naval Combat Fireworks returned to Olas Altas in 2023!
The fireworks show usually lasts about 30 minutes!

Easter week is the busiest week of the year in Mazatlán! Hundreds of thousands of visitors, mainly Mexicans, come to Mazatlán for all or part of the week to party.
In April, the weather continues to get hotter, but is still pleasant. The gringo tourist season starts to wind down and the snowbirds start heading home.

2026 Mazatlán International Motorcycle Week
This is the annual Mazatlán International Motorcycle Week event that takes place the week following Easter Week.
Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts descend upon Mazatlan for long rides, events, and parties!
Events usually include a stunt rider show, custom motorcycle contest, bikini contest, motorcycle parade, day rides, and concerts. There is also usually a welcome party, beach party, and biker forum.

Truck Week
This is the annual Truck Week put on by the Mazatlan Truck club.
There will be lots(approx. 2000 expected) of customized trucks on displays.
There is also a stage and there will be live music and DJs every day.
Usually on the Saturday at 4pm, there is a parade down the Malecon of all the customized trucks. It starts at Avenida del Mar at Ave insurgentes. It ends at the shield (escudo) at Olas Altas.

Note that the Avenida del Mar will be start to be closed at 2pm, and completely closed from 4pm for this event.

2025 Mazatlán International Motorcycle Week
This is the annual Mazatlán International Motorcycle Week event that takes place the week following Easter Week.
Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts descend upon Mazatlan for long rides, events, and parties!
Events usually include a stunt rider show, custom motorcycle contest, bikini contest, motorcycle parade, day rides, and concerts. There is also usually a welcome party, beach party, and biker forum.
In May, the temperature starts to heat up in Mazatlán. Most of the snowbirds have left for the season so many of the weekly events geared towards them are winding down.

This is the annual Truck Week put on by the Mazatlan Truck club.
There will be lots(approx. 2000 expected) of customized trucks on displays.
There is also a stage and there will be live music and DJs every day.
Usually on the Saturday at 4pm, there is a parade down the Malecon of all the customized trucks. It starts at Avenida del Mar at Ave insurgentes. It ends at the shield (escudo) at Olas Altas.

This is the main celebration in Mazatlán where they yell the 'El Grito' call at 11pm. The El Grito call is the call the Father Miguel Hidalgo made to rally the Mexican to take up arms and start the revolution.
This celebration has bands, music, and dancing starting at 6pm. There will be fireworks and a late-night headline performance after the call.
