There are many a few ways to get to and from Mazatlán. -by air -The majority of people that visit Mazatlán from the United States and Canada arrive via airplane to the Mazatlán International Airport (see out page about the airport). -It is about a 5 hour flight from Canada and 2.5 hour flight from Phoenix or Los Angeles. -Alaska airlines connects through Los Angeles. -American airlines connects through Phoenix and Dallas. -WestJet has a direct flight to/from Vancouver on Fridays, and a direct flight to/from Calgary on Saturdays. -by bus -The bus network in Mexico is extensive. You can take a bus to get to Mazatlán from many other cities in Mexico. (see our page about busses) -by driving -Some people drive to Mazatlán from the United States and Canada. Some people bring their RVs and park in a trailer park (see our page on Trailer Parks). Recently, a new toll highway was built to Durango which drastically reduces the time it takes to get to Mazatlán so more people from the northern cities like Durango and Monterrey are coming to Mazatlán. -by ferry from La Paz -There is a car ferry that runs to and from La Paz, on the Baja, that runs daily.
