The C.U.M. Event Arena Entrance

The Centro de Usos Múltiples (popularly known as the C.U.M.) is a premier, state-of-the-art indoor sports and performance arena located in the rapidly growing northern district of Mazatlán.

Please note that because of their geographical proximity in the northern Marina area, first-time visitors occasionally confuse this sports arena with the nearby Mazatlán International Center (MIC). While the MIC is designed primarily as a corporate convention and exhibition hall, the C.U.M. is a dedicated, high-capacity athletic stadium and performance arena.

With a maximum seating capacity of approximately 7,000 spectators, the fully air-conditioned and roofed complex is built to host professional sporting events—including boxing matches, volleyball tournaments, lucha libre wrestling, and mixed martial arts—alongside large-scale music concerts, festivals, and cultural expos.

Note: Looking for basketball? The Venados de Mazatlán professional basketball team does not play here; they host their home games nearby at the LoboDome stadium.

Location, Transit, & Parking Details

Physical Address

Avenida Óscar Pérez Escobosa S/N, 82275 Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico.

The arena is situated on the northern outskirts of the city, positioned near the Alarcón residential neighborhoods and directly north of the Marina district (just a short drive away from the main Walmart supermarket).

Parking Information

The facility features a small paved parking area located immediately in front of the main lobby gates, which includes dedicated spaces for disabled drivers.

Because the main lot has limited capacity, the vast majority of sports fans and concertgoers park on the wide public streets directly surrounding the stadium venue on event nights.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Tickets for concerts and events are highly affordable and can typically be purchased in three ways: directly at the C.U.M. box office windows (located at the main entrance gates) on event days, at authorized retail locations (such as Plaza Acaya), or online through authorized digital ticketing partners (like Boletomóvil or Superboletos) advertised on the specific event's official promotional pages.

The arena is situated about 8 to 10 kilometers north of the core tourist zones. Because municipal bus lines directly to the stadium are infrequent on event nights, the most practical and efficient way to travel there is by utilizing rideshare applications like Uber or DiDi, or by hailing a traditional green Eco-Taxi or open-air Pulmonía from your hotel lobby. A standard rideshare fare typically ranges from $80 MXN to $150 MXN pesos.

Yes! The C.U.M. features an active, bustling interior corridor lined with vendors selling a wide variety of snacks, including hot dogs, nachos, localized tacos, potato chips, and popcorn. Ice-cold local Pacifico beers, soft drinks, and bottled water are also widely available for purchase during all major music concerts and sporting events.
